Type Shogun is designed for a physical keyboard and is recommended for ages 7+. Most laptop and desktop displays should work; fullscreen or windowed landscape play is recommended for the clearest view. For children learning to type, enable the keyboard guide and transparent hands in Settings.
Direct-download customers can access current Windows and macOS files from Lemon Squeezy My Orders using the email address used at checkout. Steam updates are managed through Steam.
Settings, campaign progress, avatars, WPM records, WPM challenges, custom texts, and saved seeds are stored locally on the player's device. Steam purchases can also use Steam Cloud when playing through Steam.
Use Settings to reset audio, graphics, and gameplay settings to defaults. If the screen layout looks cramped, try fullscreen, windowed mode, or the default window size before changing other settings.
The direct-download edition requires an internet connection for first-time activation. After activation, the game can be played normally on that computer. Steam purchases are managed through Steam and do not use a Type Shogun direct-download license key.
Direct-download licenses support activation on up to 3 personal/family computers simultaneously. The direct-download license includes both Windows and macOS downloads. If you replace a computer and need help, contact support.
Refunds are handled according to the purchase platform, checkout provider, and any mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to the transaction.
